Sometimes known as Teeside Airport, Durham Tees Valley Airport (MME) is located just to the east of Darlington and is also within half an hour's drive of Middlesbrough and Durham.

The airport was originally named Teeside International Airport but was renamed in 2004 to Durham Tees Valley Airport. Although small, the airport serves a number of UK and European destinations and is currently undergoing an expansion program to allow it to handle up to 3 million passengers a year.
