Grimsby, in Lincolnshire, was once the busiest fishing port in the world. Situated on the south side of the Humber, on the east coast of England, the town has a long history as a port and fishing town, and in partnership with Immingham remains a major UK port.

The town's major employers include the pharmaceutical, frozen food and chemical industries and Grimsby does still have its own fishing fleet - albeit much smaller than it once was. Grimsby is also developing into a local retail hub - with its shops and retail parks drawing shoppers from surrounding towns such as Louth and Scunthorpe.
