Newquay Cornwall Airport (NCQ) is an interesting and slightly different airport. Currently an RAF facility, it was until recently used as a bomber base by the USAF as well - meaning that its runways are extremely large and well-maintained and are capable of landing the largest of passenger planes.

Military use of the site (RAF St. Mawgan) is being scaled down and commercial operations increased. The airport's current terminal facilities cater for up to 450,000 passengers a year, with further expansion planned in the next few years.

Newquay Airport already serves destinations all over the UK and continental Europe, with several major airlines operating services from the airport.
