Shipley is a town in West Yorkshire, situated just to the north of the city of Bradford. Located on the A650 and close to the M62, Shipley is a popular and practical location and is also quite close to Leeds, which lies to the south east.

One of Shipley's main attractions is the world heritage site of Saltaire. Built by Victorian industrialist Sir Titus Salt to house his mill's workforce, Saltaire was a model community that provided far better living standards for these workers than was normal at the time. Facilities included running water, a library and a hospital.
Shipley is home to around 30,000 people and although no longer the industrial town it once was, remains home to a variety of different types of businesses.
