However, put all the vans belonging to small businesses in the UK together, and they do, generating an average annual income of £21,000 for their owners.

A new study by AA Insurance has revealed that small business owners depend heavily on their vans, reckoning an average of £362 per day would be lost if they were off the road fore more than a day.

32% of van owners admit that white is their colour of choice and no fewer than 6% admit to having had a romantic liason in their van at some point.

With statistics like these, it’s no wonder that a high proportion of rented vans are to business customers who need extra or replacement transport capacity.
